The staff of the Louisville Landmarks Commission has compiled a brief synopsis of many of Louisville's more notable individual landmark sites. This work forms an excellent place to start. My sincere thanks for their wonderful work.

The following link will take you to a PDF file of the document. The document is large and may require some time to download. Be patient, it is well worth it. As time allows, more information, photographs and links will be added.

Individual Landmarks

The number of individual Heritage sites in the Louisville / Southern Indiana area is extensive and our list grows faster than we can add them to the web site. To better help you plan your visits, we have grouped the individual sites into nine districts as shown on the following map. Click on the area of the map that is of interest. If your interest is outside Louisville or Southern Indiana,
click here for a list of sites not shown on the map.
